Will I have the same carer?
Yes, you’ll have the same dedicated carer. Your carer is selected to provide the services you need, in a way that suits you. Enjoying your company, as much as you enjoy theirs.
How do I access funding for Wahroonga Home Care?
We can contact My Aged Care for you as a referrer to get the ball rolling on your assessment for either a Home Care Package or the Commonwealth Home Support Programme. We’re there to guide you through this process. If you’re not eligible for a package, require a ‘top-up’ on your services, or cannot wait for funding – we can provide care and support on a fee-for-service arrangement.
How much support can I get?
Based on your assessment, you may be able to access entry level assistance on the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) or access funding through a Home Care Package. Home Care Packages have four levels – Level 1 being the lowest support required and Level 4 the highest. While you are waiting for your assessment, we offer care and support via private funding through fee-for-service options. Call us to find out more – 1800 960 433.

Do you have a fee-for-service option?
Yes, Wahroonga Home Care can provide tailored services to suit your needs. An ACAT assessment is not required. This is an option if you are:
- A self-funded retiree or part pensioner
- Waiting on an ACAT assessment
- Looking to ‘top up’ the government-funded services you currently receive.
