Our Purpose

Our Purpose

Lutheran Services exists to serve. We serve because God in Christ brings Christian faith into everyday life.

Our Vision

Our Vision

The services, care and accommodation that we provide encourage the people we serve to pursue the life they hope for and the communities we are part of to thrive with the vibrancy of life.

Our Lutheran Identity

Our Lutheran Identity

Our Lutheran Identity is how we came about at Lutheran Services. It’s why we exist and the common purpose that unites us.

Our Lutheran ethos guides our service and underpins our values. Where we serve with grace, respect and care, dignity and honour and all are welcome.

Our Values

We seek to empower those we serve to live the life they choose.

We act with honesty and accountability in all interactions.

We act with grace to bring hope and joy to those we serve.

We work together to continuously improve our services.

Our history of helping others

Our history of helping others

Over the last century, Lutheran congregations all over Queensland responded to the call to serve their communities and established aged care homes and other community services.

Since the first rest home in Toowoomba in 1935, we’ve carried on each congregations tradition of caring. We exist to serve, striving to meet the needs of Queenslanders on their path to a good life.

Our Programs
