We give you and your family the help you need to build skills and independence. We want you to live the life you hope for.
We provide access for you to participate in recreation tasks, social opportunities and support you to develop skills and competencies.
There are a range of great activities you can get involved in at our centres. We work on practical life skills and personal development. Come along for a personal interest session or to get a hand developing your social network. We also partner with other community groups and support links.
Want to get out and do something? Need a hand around the house? We’re happy to help however we can. We can assist with housework, shopping, socialising and personal development. We can also coordinate your clinical services and programs so you can enjoy a sense of wellbeing.
We’ll help you live the life you want to live. We prepare you for employment by working on skills such as travel, catching transport, budgeting, decision-making and participating in community activities. Our programs also include nutritional eating plans, personal training, group exercise, social activities and access to nursing and allied health services.
At Lutheran Services you can trust that you’re receiving the best possible support. We have a long history of helping people and families living with disability. In fact, the origins of our disability support services today represent some of the first of their kind in Queensland.

These programs range from supporting women in our domestic violence refuge to get back on their feet, to funding our purpose-built medical clinic in Vanuatu, leaving scholarship bequests, and supporting your local aged care service.
