Hugs from kindy kids

A good hug is a wonderful thing. A virtual hug fits the bill these days.

Kindy kids from a Gympie early learning centre have been spreading joy through ‘hugs’ to their older friends at Zion Gympie Retirement Living.

This is Margaret, who is part of the intergenerational program Moving Moments. The program has been re-worked to fit with COVID-19 social distancing requirements and is now run via Zoom.

Margaret regularly gets together via video conferencing with her young friends – exchanging songs, drawings and also warm hugs.
