Aged Care

Walk this way

Lace-ups, leopard print and stripes. Just an average pair of socks for staff at Tabeel Aged Care.

Much to the delight of residents ‘silly sock day’ is on again at the Laidley aged care home.

Administration officer Diane Malone, who sports the bold coloured lace-up socks in the photo, said the crazy socks were a fun talking point for the residents.

“You can certainly see us walking around!“ she said.

“There’s been lots of comments from the residents, they are a great conversation starter and brings a smile to everyone’s faces.’’
