Trinder Park – Simba the star at Trinder’s volunteer party

Trinder Park held its annual volunteer thank you party this month with a canine volunteer stealing the show.

Simba and owner Brooke Mussett are frequent visitors to Trinder Park aged care.

Brooke said Simba’s soft fur and calm nature would always win in a popularity contest.

“The residents recognise him more than me. They love him to sit on their beds!” she said.

Trinder’s luncheon was to thank all of their volunteers for the care and kindness shown to residents over the past year.

Volunteers really add something special to people’s lives, providing extra friendship and companionship to the elderly residents.
