Residents Enjoy Memorable Whale Watching Experience

Residents from Zion Aged Care in Nundah recently set sail on a special whale watching adventure, enjoying a day of fresh sea air, laughter, and unforgettable moments on Moreton Bay.

Joined by four family members, residents were treated to multiple whale sightings as they cruised the bay, taking in the beauty of the ocean and the excitement of seeing these magnificent animals up close. The outing provided a wonderful change of scenery and a chance for residents to relax, connect, and share the experience with loved ones.

The successful day was made possible through the close collaboration of our Lifestyle Team and Allied Health Team, whose planning, care, and can-do approach ensured the excursion ran smoothly and safely from start to finish. Their dedication allowed residents to fully enjoy the adventure with confidence and comfort.

Experiences like this highlight the importance of meaningful outings that support wellbeing, connection, and joy – creating lasting memories and helping residents continue to enjoy life to the fullest.
