Cabanda Care in Rosewood will transition to Lutheran Services ownership.
We’re pleased to share that Cabanda Care in Rosewood will transition to Lutheran Services ownership, strengthening the future of this long-standing community service and expanding our presence in regional Queensland.
Cabanda has been part of the Rosewood community since 1987. Established by local residents, it has grown into a trusted aged care, retirement living and community program provider known for its compassion, connectedness and strong local identity.
The Cabanda Care Board recently undertook an expressions-of-interest process to find an experienced not-for-profit provider who could support the service’s long-term sustainability. Lutheran Services was selected due to our shared values, our depth of experience, and our ongoing commitment to regional communities.
Lutheran Services is celebrating 90 years of service in Queensland.
Chair of the Cabanda Care Board, Tony Lindsay, welcomes the ownership transition to enable Cabanda to grow into the future.
“We’re proud of our community-run service, where we meet the holistic needs of our residents and clients – and have done so for almost 40 years,” Mr Lindsay said.
I’m confident we’re in good hands with Lutheran Services, who shares our commitment to best-practice, compassionate care to meet the needs of local communities.
