Hula-hula

A themed drinks trolley with singing and dancing staff is just one way staff at Orana Aged Care ‘lei’ on the laughter.

Resident Lurline got into the fun at happy hour this week.

A sense of playfulness is keeping staff and residents energised.

Orana’s Creative Programs Coordinator Katrina Hughes said laughter was the best medicine.

“Staff are coming up with fresh and exciting ideas,” she said.

“The drinks trolley is set up with different drinks and music and will be going around to the different areas each week to serve drinks and have a laugh with residents and staff working in that area.”
