Got spare tools? We’ll put them to work

The Shed, a community program supporting people with disability through practical woodworking and craft, is seeking donated tools to continue its work.

At The Shed, participants take part in practical woodworking and craft activities designed to build skills, confidence, and meaningful social connections. Each session provides a safe and supportive environment where people can learn at their own pace while creating projects they’re proud of.

To continue delivering these sessions safely and effectively, The Shed relies on donated tools and materials. Community support helps ensure participants can keep learning practical skills, staying engaged, and feeling part of a welcoming community.

The program is currently seeking new or lightly used tools, including drills, jigsaws, clamps, hammers, and sanders. Every donated item helps keep The Shed open, hands-on, and accessible for everyone who takes part.

Community members who are able to donate are encouraged to get involved and help make a lasting difference.
