An eye on the future – together again

Painting jigsaw pieces is more than an activity to keep residents occupied, it is symbolic of community and togetherness.

Lifestyle Coordinator Jeff Gough said paints, brushes and jigsaw pieces had been delivered to residents keen to get involved.

“Lifestyle facilitator Rita had the idea to get the residents to paint large jigsaw pieces in lockdown, that we will cut out and put together as a display once we are free to move around again,” he said.

“It keeps people’s minds looking forward. It will also give us something to show for our efforts at the end of all this.”
