I have always wanted to get more involved in the community, so being a part of helping people connect to the care they need is perfect for me.
It’s incredibly satisfying to help someone to see there are good options available to them. To be able to relieve some of their stress by talking through these options is truly fulfilling.
I love chatting with people and supporting them through the transition to Salem/Northridge. The people I speak to have such wonderful stories to share. Its great to see and hear the laughter that sharing life’s stories bring.
I love being able to listen & connect with people. I share my own personal experiences and try to provide the best solutions and support that tailored to them.
We have a great relationship with the local hospitals, community groups and support workers here in Toowoomba. It’s great to be able to take some of the worry out of the transition to aged care and welcome people into our service.
Both Salem and Northridge have fantastic activities for the residents to join in. I love spending time with the residents’ playing games and enjoying their company.
