South Burnett Community Services Celebrates 10 Years of Support in Kingaroy

Pictured: Happy Anniversary South Burnett Community Services.

South Burnett Community Services has proudly celebrated 10 years of supporting people in the Kingaroy community, marking a decade of care, connection and empowering people to live more independently.

Since opening its doors, South Burnett Community Services has provided tailored supports for people living with disability, helping individuals build confidence, develop everyday life skills and stay connected with their community through meaningful and personalised support.

What began with just one peer support worker has grown into a strong and dedicated local team committed to making a positive difference in people’s lives every day. Over the past decade, the service has continued to evolve alongside the needs of the community, creating opportunities for clients to build independence, form friendships and achieve their personal goals.

The milestone celebration brought together clients, families, staff and community partners to reflect on the journey and recognise the people who have helped shape the service over the years.

Special guests included Kathy Duff, Danita Potter and Deb Dennien from South Burnett Regional Council, who joined the celebrations and acknowledged the important role the service plays within the local community.

The anniversary was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate not only how far the service has come, but also the strong sense of community, compassion and connection that continues to guide its work.

Congratulations to everyone involved in reaching this incredible milestone and thank you for the ongoing support you provide to the Kingaroy community.
