We offer coordination and relief for people who need help navigating the system.

Programs

In Kingaroy we have a peer support worker – a person with a lived experience of mental illness – who can offer unique support and treat you with kindness and understanding.

They work with you to find the best local program to help you get well and get on with your life.

How to access

To access Peer Support Coordination there are just a few eligibility criteria:

  • over 18 years
  • identify as living with a mental illness
  • need assistance to link into ongoing supports within the community
  • willing to participate in a recovery oriented program

Anyone can make a referral by contacting the Peer Support Coordinator on 0437 716 668 . The consent of the person being referred must be obtained prior to making a referral.
