Visitors restricted at certain sites, Greater Brisbane

March 2021

Queensland Health has announced that all non-essential visits to residential aged care facilities and disability accommodation in Greater Brisbane will cease. This is effective from noon Saturday 13 March and reviewed Tuesday 16 March.

This is a precautionary measure due to a Brisbane person locally acquiring COVID-19.

This means the following Lutheran Services aged care services are closed to non-essential visitors until further notice.

  • Trinder Park, Woodridge
  • Zion, Nundah
  • St Paul’s, Caboolture, and
  • Karawatha Community, Trinder Park

Anyone attending these services in Greater Brisbane, including staff, must wear a mask. People will still be able to visit their loved ones who are at end of life.

We will be encouraging and supporting family and friends to keep in touch with loved ones via phone or video calling.

Our social and lifestyle activities will continue as we remain dedicated to providing the very best care and support for our residents.

We thank you for your ongoing understanding as we navigate this evolving situation. We will continue to provide updates as required.
