Visitor restrictions in place in Brisbane City and Moreton Bay LGAs

March 2021

Queensland Health has announced that all non-essential visits to residential aged care facilities and disability accommodation in Brisbane City and Moreton Bay local government areas will cease – effective from 12pm Friday 26 March until further notice.

This is a precautionary measure due to a Brisbane resident locally acquiring COVID-19.

This means the following Lutheran Services aged care services are closed to non-essential visitors until further notice.

  • Zion, Nundah
  • St Paul’s, Caboolture

Anyone attending these services, including staff, must wear a mask. People will still be able to visit their loved ones who are at end of life.

We will be encouraging and supporting family and friends to keep in touch with loved ones via phone or video calling.

Our social and lifestyle activities will continue as we remain dedicated to providing the very best care and support for our residents.

We thank you for your ongoing understanding as we navigate this evolving situation. We will continue to provide updates as required.
