Visitor restrictions expand to more LGAs

March 2021

Queensland Health has announced that all non-essential visits to residential aged care facilities and disability accommodation in Ipswich, Logan, Redlands, Moreton and Brisbane council areas will cease – effective from 5pm Monday 29 March until further notice.

As Greater Brisbane has been declared a hotspot, residents of Greater Brisbane are unable to visit aged care or disability accommodation facilities regardless their location.

This means the following Lutheran Services locations are closed to non-essential visitors until further notice:

  • Trinder Park, Woodridge
  • Karawatha Community, Woodridge
  • Zion, Nundah
  • St Paul’s, Caboolture

Any essential visitors attending these services, including staff, must wear a mask. People will still be able to visit their loved ones who are at end of life.

We will be encouraging and supporting family and friends to keep in touch with loved ones via phone or video calling.

Our social and lifestyle activities will continue as we remain dedicated to providing the very best care and support for our residents.

We thank you for your ongoing understanding as we navigate this evolving situation. We will continue to provide updates as required.
