Visitor restrictions at certain sites, Greater Brisbane
On Saturday 13 March Queensland Health announced that all residential aged care facilities and disability accommodation in Greater Brisbane are closed to non-essential visitors. This restriction was reviewed on Tuesday 16 March and as a result of the review will be extended and reviewed again on Friday 19 March.
This is a precautionary measure due to a Brisbane resident locally acquiring COVID-19.
This means the following Lutheran Services aged care services are closed to non-essential visitors until further notice.
- Trinder Park, Woodridge
- Zion, Nundah
- St Paul’s, Caboolture, and
- Karawatha Community, Trinder Park
Any essential visitors attending these services in Greater Brisbane, including staff, must wear a mask. People will still be able to visit their loved ones who are at end of life.
We are encouraging and supporting family and friends to keep in touch with loved ones via phone or video calling. You are welcome to drop off letters or gifts during this time.
Our social and lifestyle activities are continuing as we remain dedicated to providing the very best care and support for our residents.
We thank you for your ongoing understanding as we navigate this evolving situation. We will continue to provide updates as required.
