Update on visitor restrictions – how does it work?
Following the small number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Queensland, the Chief Health Officer has directed all aged care and disability accommodation services in the Gold Coast, Logan and Brisbane Local Government Areas close to visitors.
This impacts the following Services:
- St Andrews at Tallebudgera
- Trinder Park at Woodridge
- Zion at Nundah
- Karawatha House in Woodridge, and
- Trinity Disability accommodation services on the Gold Coast.
Tabeel aged care in Laidley is also currently closed to visitors on advice from the West Moreton Public Hospital and Health Unit.
Due to its proximity to higher risk locations St Paul’s at Caboolture has moved to a visitor appointment system to control visitor numbers and frequency of contact.
These are precautionary measures only. There are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 at any Lutheran Services aged care or disability accommodation site.
Our remaining aged care services do not currently have visitor restrictions:
- Immanuel Gardens, Buderim
- Orana, Kingaroy
- Salem and Northridge Salem, Toowoomba
- Wahroonga, Bileola
You can contact the site directly for more information.
